Networking Reception
Wednesday, March 15, 6:00 pm
We look forward to seeing you at the Networking Reception for a bite to eat and drink at this social gathering before the Design Portfolio Review. RISD undergraduate and graduate students will look forward to meeting with you to share their resumes and business cards, ask you questions and make a connection for future follow-up.
This event provides companies and organizations with the chance to engage in conversations with students about their current work and projects, clarify what you are seeking in applicants for internships and jobs, and generate student interest in applying for your opportunities.
Fees: No charge to companies/organizations to attend.

Design Portfolio Review + Employer Reception
Thursday, March 16, 12 noon - 5:00 pm
Employer Reception 5:00 - 7:00 pm
The Design Portfolio Review is our feature event and is focused on individualized 15-minute student portfolio reviews with juniors, seniors and graduate students that emphasize feedback on students’ work and presentation skills while providing insights for reviewers on RISD talent that may be suited to their hiring needs.
We ask that companies indicate which RISD majors they are most interested in meeting with when registering to attend. The Career Center will strongly encourage students to sign-up for portfolio reviews with companies accordingly.
Resume Drop: If your schedule for portfolio reviews fills up, students who were unable to sign-up on your schedule will have the option of using an electronic Resume Drop to share their resumes with you. Companies will receive a packet of all resumes submitted by students who used the Resume Drop before the Design Portfolio Review.
If you want to reach out to any of the students in your Resume Drop packet to schedule a time to meet with them at the Recruiting Day event, you are welcome to do so. Details on the Recruiting Day can be found here.
Employer Reception: Join us for the Employer Reception following the Design Portfolio Review! We appreciate your time and commitment to meeting with students and hope you’ll have a bite to eat and drink before heading home. You’ll have the chance to meet and network with other reviewers, academic department heads, faculty and RISD senior administrative leadership.

Recruiting Day
Friday, March 17, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Companies that would like to conduct formal interviews with selected students for current openings are encouraged to attend the Recruiting Day.
Companies will post their position/s to ArtWorks in advance, receive student applications, select students they want to meet with and create their own interview schedules to meet with selected students.
